Özet (EN)
In this study, a series of two armed polymers of methyl methacrylate has been synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) method using 2,6-dibromopyrazabole as initiator and CuBr/2,2?bipyridine as catalyst system at 100 °C ended different times. Average number molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of polymer series were recorded with GPC technique and thus polymerization kinetic was investigated. The glass transition temperature of polymer centered pyrazabole was determined by DSC technique at different heating rates. When the heating rate was changed from 5 oC/min to 25 oC/min, the glass transition temperatures decrased from 149 oC to 110 oC. Thermal decomposition of polymer was investigated by TGA method at the heating rates of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 oC/min. Decomposition activation energies of polymers were found to be 120,98 kJ/mol and 112.53 kJ/mol by the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger methods, respectively. Thermal degradation mechanism of polymer was determined with the Coats-Redfern, Tang, Madhusudanan, Van Krevelen and Horowith Metzger kinetic methods using experimental data.
