Abstract (EN)
In the current work, we evaluated four different (Exp 54, Exp 56, Exp 57 and Exp 65) pyrazole/ quinoline derivatives for the possible cytotoxic effects in HeLa An/ 1 cells. xCELLingence RTCA-DP system (xCELLingence Real Time Cell Analyze ? Dual Plate System) was used to evaluate the possible cytotoxic properties of these compounds. This system enables to follow the continuous label free cell proliferation and death. Our results showed that only Exp 65 had strong cytotoxic activity against to HeLa An/ 1 cells. IC?? value of the compound was 8.729 ± 1.361µM. Consistent with the xCELLigence RTCA-DP data, phase contrast microscopic findings also showed that Exp 65 induced cell-to-cell and cell-to-substratum detachment of HeLa cells. Our results indicate that Exp 65 could be used as a lead compound to develop the more effective and specific anticancer drugs.Keywords: Quinoline, pyrazole (diarylpyrazole), anti cancer activity, HeLa/An 1
