Foundation works of Piri Mehmed Pasha in Turkey

Piri Mehmed Pasha successfully served the state by holding important positions in the reigns of Ottoman sultans 2. Bayezid, Yavuz Sultan Selim and Suleiman the Magnificent.In our study titled "Foundation Works of Piri Mehmet Pasha in Turkey", we prepared our thesis by using other documents such as drawings and photographic materials that we compiled from the field studies, in addition to the information and documents we obtained after the literature review in libraries. Within the scope of our research, a total of 11 social complexes in Konya and Silivri and individual works in ıstanbul and Aksaray.In the catalog of our thesis, the architectural and ornamental qualities of each work are introduced in detail and presented as a monograph. All of the buildings we examined were compared and evaluated with other works of the same type of Ottoman architecture and their place in the development line of Turkish architecture was determined and their typological distinction was made.
