Abstract (EN)
In this study, 4,6-dihyroxy-2-methylpyrimidine used coupling component for hetarylazo dyes. The 5-hetarylazo dyes (1-4) of 4,6-dihyroxy-2-methyl-pyrimidine were prepared from coupling of 4,6-dihyroxy-2-methypyrimidine with diazotised 2-amino-(benzo)thiazole(s). Chemical structures of dyes 1-4 were determined by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, Mass spectroscopic methods and elemental analyses, and the effects of solvent, concentration, temperature and acide-base on their absorption spectra were examined.
