Abstract (EN)
Peanut shell is used in this study was obtained from environmentalcertificated engineer Evren ÇAKIROĞLU, naphthalene adsorption on activited carbon were examined as functions such as initial pH, adsorbent dosage and temperature in a stirred reactor. In the experimental study, the first stage is made to determine first the naphthalene removal efficiency with pH optimum pH studies that tried to determine how changing. In the second stage, adsorbent concentration from 0.1 to 1,5 g / L was examined to determine the naphthalene removal efficiency. The third stage the naphthalene adsorption capacities were investigated at ranging from 15oC and 30oC were investigated adsorption capacity value. All the work done for the Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin adsorption isotherm constants have been calculated and applied Langmuir isotherm constants for temperature test. At the same time utilizing the thermodynamic parameters (Ho,Go, So) for the adsorption process is then calculated RL values of diffusion boundary layer. At the final stage of the study, the pseudo-order kinetic models I and II were applied to find the compatibility of process. At the end of the experimental studystatistic alanalysiswas done. This method is RSM Box-Behnken model we have utilized this method which provided to short time and succesfull with applicationfor optimization of multiple level and complex analysis. From the RSM method the optimal conditions such as initial concentration, pH, adsorbent dosage and temperature were determined to be 20 mg/L, pH of 7,5, 0,8 mg/L 22,5oC, respectively. The RSM was explained for the optimization of adsorption process through approval experiments.
