Özet (EN)
In this work, the effects of selectable parameters of Element-Free Galerkin Method (EFGM); such as type of weight functions, size of support domain, number of gauss points, number of monomials and value of penalty coefficient, on the solution accuracy of the Reissner-Mindlin plate bending problems are investigated. An EFGM source code using MATLAB has been written for the solutions of plate bending problems. Several plate bending problems were solved using the MATLAB source code and the results of EFGM solutions are compared with the results of analytical solutions.
