Computer analysis of the effect of cold sprue entrance on the internal stress distribution in plastic injection mould design

Materials made of plastics became a major piece of human' s everyday life. The usage of plastics in construction, automotive, aviation and electric – electronic industries made plastics an alternative to steel and other materials. The reasons of this wide usage area of plastics in human life are the cheapness of plastics and low production costs according to the other materials. Plastic injection is the most common plastic processing technology. In this thesis, computer analysis of the effect of cold sprue entrance on the internal stress distribution in plastic injection mould design has been done.
