Abstract (EN)

The use of plastic injection technology has increased in recent years in our country. With this increase, the improvement and development of the plastic industry is on the agenda. Injection molding machine, raw material and mold are the three basic elements that make up the plastic injection technology. In our study, plastic injection molding technique was used. Generally, the cooling water supplied to the molds for cooling of the molds is fed with constant flow rate. By changing the constant flow rate, the plastic-mold heat transfer difference realized in mold was achieved. A prototype device is designed to make flow variability. The cooling water coming from the system to the mold was increased by 0.1 value between 2 - 3.5 m3 / h flow rate with the help of the proportional valve on the prototype device, and the mold was cooled at different flow rates. In mold temperature differences were observed after variable flow. Samples were taken after every changing flow. As a result of this, the effects of the plastic products produced on quality, mechanical properties and the contribution of this flow variability to the production efficiency were investigated. It is a plastic product packaging whose mechanical properties are evaluated. The random copolymer is produced with polypropylene. All samples were taken with the same raw material and fixed injection machine parameters to observe the effects of flow variability. Tensile ratios and strength tests of the samples were evaluated. In addition, the effects of prototype device on machine-mold performance and energy efficiency were interpreted.
