Abstract (EN)
Morality in societies and human relations began to collapse due to selfish management and uneducated and ignorant people. These processes have formed the agenda of philosophy and many other sciences. Plato and Ibn Bâjja are among the philosophers who think about virtuous states in the field of philosophy. These two philosophers aim of these two philosophers is to create a moral and healthy society free from conflicts. This thesis discusses the state and individual conceptions of Plato and Ibn Bâjja and their relations with each other as the subject of our study. In this study, the virtuous state understandings of Plato and Ibn Bâjja, who are essential names in political philosophy, were compared and examined. The concepts of morality, happiness and virtue, dealt with in İbn Bajja and Ploto's Works, have been examined. These concepts were handled separately within the political philosophies of Plato and Ibn İbn Bâjja and their connections and differences formed the subject of this study.
