Abstract (EN)
In this study an industrial problem have been studied and plasma coating techniques have been employed in order to increase the service life of ?shutters? which is spare part of a textile workbenches operating under wear conditions. The aim of this study is to reduce the export costs of shutters by the means coating them with the plasma spray for to increase the service life of the shutters which will also provide extra inputs to the economy. The coatings have been performed by using Al2O3-%13TiO2, Al2O3-%40TiO2, %100Cr2O3, %100TiO2, %75Cr2O3-%25TiO2, %50Cr2O3-%50TiO2 and %25Cr2O3- %75TiO2 powders over aluminum substrates by the means of atmospheric plasma coating techniques. The bonding strength, wearing micro hardness, values have been determined and X-Ray, SEM and micro structures have been examined.
