Technology is one of the indispensables of today's life. The metal forming process is a process that shapes sheet metals. The metal forming process is used especially in industrial field. The press machines have a wide range of working areas such as production lines, automotive industry, packaging industry, construction industry, and household appliances. Press machines are indispensables of metal forming industry. Press machines are one of the most dangerous machine types in industry. For that reason, safety precautions must be applied and tested carefully while manufacturing a press machine. In this study, press machines and their types are introduced. Mechanical press, which is the one common type of presses, is manufactured and implemented with safety precautions. The safety design on press will be implemented. The risk analyze of safety precautions will be made. The standards about safety precautions will be examined.
