Abstract (EN)

Diseases such as trauma, infection, tumor resection, skeletal anomalies, avascular necrosis, and osteoporosis disrupt the integrity of bone tissue. Bone grafting is the most essential treatment for regenerating bone tissue with disrupted integrity. However, since the regeneration rates of bone grafts frequently used in today's medical applications are not at the desired level due to their poor biocompatibility capacities and weak strength, there is a need to synthesize new bone grafts with the desired properties. This study aims to synthesize, characterize, and reveal the biocompatibility values of a new synthetic bone graft based on a highly biocompatible and high-strength Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) / Hydroxyapatite (HA) scaffold with Hemp Fiber / Fibroin gel filling and CBD / Fibroin / BSA nanoemulsion coating for bone regeneration. In this study, the newly synthesized bone graft was subjected to physical characterization tests using XRD, FTIR-ATR, SEM, DLS, Zeta-size, Density, Viscosity and UV-Vis spectrophotometer, mechanical strength tests using Compression and Tensile, and then biocompatibility tests using MTT, LDH, Morphology and Cell migration analyses on Beas2B, FL and HC cell lines. As a result of this study, a valuable new bone graft product with high biocompatibility and high strength properties, preclinical studies, was revealed.
