Özet (EN)

Abstract: We aimed to investigate, the effect of different doses of intrathecal levobupivacaine-fentanyl combination in pneumatic uretero-lithtripsy operations.Materials and Methods: Sixty ASA I-II pneumatic uretero-lithotripsy patients aged between 18 ? 65 years old were included to the study. These patients are devided into two groups randomly. In Grouıp I (n=30) 10 mg 0.5% levobupivacain + 25 µg fentanyl, ain Group II (n=30) 12.5 mg 0.5% levobupivacain + 25 µg fentanyl were administered intrathecally for spinal anesthesia. Motor and sensorial blocks levels were measured during the study. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used for determining pain during the study. Haemodynamics data were also recorde. First analgesic use time and side effects recorded. Patients and surgeon satisfaction scores were measured postoperatively.Result: Demographic data were smilar between groups. Motor blocks levels were not differ among groups. Achievemnet to maximal sensorial levels were faster in Group II. Besides this, time to start surgery was foun shorter im Group II. There were not any statistically differences for VAS scores in two groups. Patient satisfaction and surgical comfort were measured as high grades in two groups. Haemodynamic data were smilar between groups. Only hypotention were observed in one patient in Group I and two patients in Group II. Total ephedrine usage was 30mg and 35mg in Grpup Iand II respectively. Postoperative first analgesic use time were measured smilarly (Group I= 238 min, Group II= 245 min.) Itching was observed in 16.6% in both groups. Conclusion: Combination of levobupivacain-fentanyle as this study doses may be used successfully in pneumatic uretro-lithotripsi patients. This combination made a appropriate spinal anesthesia with minimal side effects.Key words: Levobupivacaine, fentanyl, spinal anesthesia, pneumatic uretero-lithotripsi.
