Abstract (EN)

Key Words: Schiff base, complex, coordination polymer, metal-containing polymerIn this study, Schiff base type ligands were synthesized using salicylaldehyde and 2-(2-aminoethoxy)ethanol or mono ethanolamine. The metal complexes of the prepared ligands were synthesized in methanol or ethanol by using related M(OAc)2.XH2O salts. The complexes were prepared by applying the concentrate condition template complexation techniques.Synthesized bis-hydroxyl functional group of complexes containing metal-containing copolymers were prepared using toluene-2,4-isocyanate and izoftaloil chloride monomers, respectively. Polyurethane polymers(PUP) were synthesized as copolymer metal complex monomers. Metal containing polyester (PES)polymers were prepared using in the same as bis-OH functional metal complexes used as a monomer.Thermal behaviors of polyurethane and polyester copolymers were examined with the TGA and DSC techniques. The characterizations of all compounds were performed with 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-vis and MS spectrometric techniques and elemental analysis. The monomeric functional group containing metal complex which is the Cu(SAEE)2, bis(ethoxyethanol salicylaldimin)-Cu(II) complex was grown as a single-crystal and given as a ORTEPIII diagram of the molecular structure.
