Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the potential for use as an artificial skin substitution of the BC membrane modified in situ to allow cell migration and neovascularization using vascular structured polylactic acid (PLA) template which printed with a 3 dimensional (3D) printer. In this context, in situ production of BC/PLA biocomposite was formed by PLA template and bacterial cellulose produced using Gluconacetobakter xylinus strain. After in situ BS production, PLA was removed from the harvested BC/PLA biocomposite using chloroform as a solvent. Characterization tests were carried out with SEM, ATR-FTIR, Micro-CT, light microscopy and in vitro animal cell culture experiments using HUVEC cells to determine the size in the 3D vascular model formed in the BC membrane, and purity of the BC after washing procedure of BC membrane. In this study, it was shown that BC membrane produced in situ by a new modification technique has the potential to allow neovascularization and has the potential to be used as skin substitution using a vascular model PLA template which printed with a 3D printer.
