Abstract (EN)

Polyaniline/gold nanorod composite was fabricated by electrochemically onto platinyum electrode. As a model, glucose biosensor was constructed using this composite as supporting material for glucose oxidase loading. The composite was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The existence of gold nanorods resulted in a higher electroactivity of the nanocomposite. The enzyme, glucose oxidase, was covalently immobilized on a conducting Polyaniline/gold nanorodcomposite and amperometric response was measured as a function of concentration of glucose at a potential of 0.6 V vs Ag/AgCl in 0.1 M phosphate buffer at pH 6.4. The linear range of the calibration curve is from 17.6?A to 1 mM and a limit of detection (LOD) of 5.9 ?M The apperent Mishaelis- Menten constant Km is calculated to be 1.0 and the response time is less than 3 seconds. The results demonstrate that the composite has potential applications as a biosensor to monitor of low levels of glucose.
