Abstract (EN)

Key Words: polymer, phthalocyanine, thin film, refractive index In this study polymer thin films containing polymer and phthalocyanine are covered over glass conveyor by dip-coating technique. The necessary solution for this process contains polycarbonate (bis-phenol-A BPAPC), dichloromethane, phthalocyanine in appropriate amount. In the process of covering films on glass conveyor vertical speed submersion technique is used in 84 mm/min. One-layered films with different characteristics are prepared. In defining the optical characteristics of films UV spectrometer is used. Absorption, transmission and reflection data of all films are compared. By using these data the thickness and refractive index of films are calculated. According to the results obtained from the UV spectrometer the medium of transmission is 90 ? 92 %. The data show that light is greatly absorbed in UV area. The cutting transmission rate for all samples is about 264 nm.
