Production and characterization of polymer-based X-ray dedectors

Abstract (EN)

In this study, a polymer-based X-ray detector with PEDOT:PSS interlayer and active layer P3HT:PCBM was produced. In this study, PEDOT:PSS from Sigma-Aldrich company was used as an interlayer. In this study, 40 drops were dripped onto the ITO by rotating PEDOT:PSS using a coating mechanism and rotated at 4000 rpm. The solution that overflowed outside the desired area during rotation was carefully cleaned with chloroform. The coated layer was then dried at room temperature and annealed at 120 °C for 60 min to remove residual solvents. It was made by using a mixture of regioregular (regular) P3HT and PCBM active materials (1:0), (1:0.5), (1:1), (1:2) weight ratios used in the P3HT:PCBM solution in the produced X-ray detector. . In this study, P3HT:PCBM was dissolved in 1 ml of chloroform at 50 °C for 1 night by stirring in a vibrator, and the solution was made ready for use. The prepared solution was coated with 40 drops of PEDOT:PSS and rotated at 4000 rpm with the coating technique. The solution that overflowed outside the desired area during rotation was carefully cleaned with chloroform. The coated layer was then dried at room temperature and annealed at 120 °C for 60 min to remove residual solvents. In this study, graphite, which has been discovered in recent years and has a high work function, is coated using the spray coating method. During the coating, the two desired areas were covered by masking. Thus, we have produced our polymer-based X-ray detector.
