Abstract (EN)
The development of new surface technologies requires precise control of various interface properties. In particular, polymer brushes are gaining increasing attention both for their usage areas and for controlling surface properties. In this study, after the synthesis of imidazolium-containing monomers, polymeric ionic liquid brushes were synthesized by RAFT polymerization. It was characterized by XPS, TOF-SIMS, AFM, and water contact angle measurements of poly(ionic liquid) brushes with different counterions. As a result, it was observed that the surface morphology changed depending on the counterion type.
