Özet (EN)

In this study; the effect of fiber-mixed concrete samples, which are formed as a result of adding polypropylene fiber additive in different proportions, on the tensile and compressive strengths in bending has been experimentally investigated. A set of fiber-free concrete samples (witness concrete) and 6 sets of 0.25%; 0.50%; 0.75%; 1.0%; 1.25%; concrete samples containing 1.5% by volume fiber were produced. These samples were matured under appropriate laboratory conditions and their fresh concrete unit mass, 1 and 28 days concrete unit masses were determined and recorded. Tensile tests in compression and bending were applied on the produced cylinder and beam samples. In addition, cylinder samples were produced in order to determine the consistency of fresh concrete and their precipitation rates were determined. As a result, it was seen that as the added fiber ratio increases, the compressive strength decreases and the tensile strength in bending increases.
