Abstract (EN)
In this study, polyrhodanine (pRh) was electrochemically synthesized on a copper surface. Electrochemical synthesis was carried out from 0.3 M amonium oxalate solution containing 0.001 M monomer using cyclic voltammetry technique. Corrosion behaviour of the polymer coated copper (Cu/pRh) was investigated in 3.5 % NaCl solution using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potansiyodinamic polarization techniques. The obtained results show that; pRh films can reduce the corrosion of copper.
