The image of women from pop art to the present and its reflections on illustration art

The image of women, which is reflected in the works in a wide ranging culture, is kept separate. The technical and intellectual originality of the artist and their images reflected in the female illustrations were evaluated. The historical period processes of the understanding of beauty and aesthetics brought by the image of woman are mentioned. Illustration constitutes the basic principles of the language structure created by visuality. From the beginning of the primitive age to the present, it has made progess thanks to the developments without deteriorating its basic structure. In our period, it has come out of a demand situation and has become a necessity, as it appeals to every sector. With the impact of the emergence of the art of illustration, its historical background, periodical and technical developments are supported by example illustrations. The aim of this study is to explain the role played by the female image, which is reflected in the illustration designs through the entertaining and messages of pop art. The woman, her effort to take a place in the society, her struggle from the past to the present, were analyzed on the images depicted. The effect process brought by the formations that bring aesthetics and beauty to the mind fırst of the female gender has been investigated.
