Abstract (EN)
Humankind has learned how to live in the way of communities since its existence and has always felt the necessity of being part of community. Therefore, socialising fact is one of the most significant basic necessities of human being. Culture concept arose by the acquisitions that they shaped and gained by sharing each other as a result of interactions they experienced inside of different groups. The definitions of culture referring different phenomenons; named as massif and elite culture, moral and material culture, national and global culture, popular culture and consumption culture. As we examine popular culture phenomenon that refers basic questions of my study, we see that it mantains its dominations all over the world. It effects every single class of communities without doing any class, social, age discrimination from television to internet, from music to clothing at nearly every part of life. Phenomenon of popular culture has a feature of phenomenon discoursed very often by the experts because of the fact of that it still continues by lifting its effectiveness in our today's world. In addition to this, abundance of attentions to this conception and that we live with popular culture confront us with difficulties of bringing a global definition to concept of popular culture. The affects to social relations of popular culture which is an irreplaceable concept of daily life form the main aim of the thesis. In other words, that statue descriptions which people took place in community along with their consumption habits of people bring about what kind of results has been searched and an answer to problems whether popular consumption habits hierarchize in social relations has been seeked.
