Abstract (EN)
Due to the rapid growth of technological developments in recent years, the decoration of ceramic coating materials by digital printing method has gained a great importance, but scientific studies on the properties and thermal behavior of both solvent and water-based inks and dry granilia used for digital printing are scarce. Furthermore, since there is no granilia production in Turkey, factories use granilia supply by importing. In this study, matt and glossy dry granilia were produced for decoration in ceramic factories in our country and their feasibility in single firing on porcelain tile surfaces was investigated. In order to observe the development of matte and glossy surface on porcelain tiles and to characterize the final product, laser grain size analysis, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X - ray diffraction (XRD), (XRF) analyses of the matte and glossy granillias were made. Applications of new products produced in industrial conditions have been made to achieve smooth and decorative effective surfaces.
