Violence as one of research areas has recently attracted a great interest. There are various classifications of violence. Violence changes according to tenses and places. It is also clear that an individual learns violent behaviour during their socialization process. Mass communication plays a vital role in accelerating these changes in learning violent behavior.Postmodernism is struggle to dilemma of modernism and it is alternative of modernism. According to postmodernists, postmodernism describes today?s developed western societies and defines post modern society.Although the Children up to a certain age and adolescents are being affected by the concept of violence in TV programs the violence in advertisements broadcast between these programs,is not quite obviouse to lead to negative effects on human beings. Pierre Bourdieu?s notion of symbolic violence is important in terms of corresponding practically to the notion of non-physical violence. In accordance with Bourdieu theory, the correspondence of this notion ?that has several implementation areas- in education can be summarised as the regeneration of inequalities through shaping individuals. Accordingly, Bourdieu methodology within the framework of symbolic violence concept is a functional methodology for advertising.Semiology uses some instruments in order to reach at the meaning universe of the text, while analyzing a text, in other words, clarifying the deep structure of the text through its surface structure.
