Özet (EN)
Humanity's efforts to make sense of the world means the same as an effort to solve the problems of his own time. In other words, our effort to solve the problems we encounter in the world we live in is actually the sum of the activities we do to make sense of it. Although the structure of these problems varies from period to period, in fact, their own nature does not change. When it comes to politics, the main characteristic of this problem is on what basis we will establish our political and social relations in the world we are trying to make sense of. The aim of this study is to present the concept map of postmodern theory and to examine which basic concerns can be based on the relations we will establish politically and socially. There is hardly anything that postmodern theory does not challenge. It criticized all the usual epistemological assumptions, refuted methodological conventions, rejected knowledge claims, resisted any version of truth, and excluded all mainstream political ideas from acceptability. It was thought that this position of postmodern theory, that is, the distance between the search for objective thought, will open the door to nihilism, and cause cynicism and decay due to the lack of socially objective points of action. On the contrary, the political and social view that will emanate from postmodern thought will require sensitivity towards difference rather than nihilism and cynicism. Where there is no common truth, "truth" as a concept does not disappear, only the multiplicity of truths occurs. In the area where no one can hold the monopoly of truth, everyone's truth becomes unique in himself. In addition, as postmodern theory points out, every truth will need an "Other" to reveal its difference in contextuality that will reveal the meaning. In other words, since the thing that creates every 'Me' will be an 'Other', where there is no 'Other', the 'Me' and 'Our' will not.
