The relationship between positive psychological capital, work stress and turnover intention: an application in Erzurum and Denizli

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the concepts of positive psychological capital, work stress and intent to leave work. In this respect, in the first part of the study, the theoretical framework of these concepts is given. In the application part of the study, the data obtained from the health institutions in Erzurum and Denizli where the field research conducted are analyzed. According to the results both the relationship between positive psychological capital and work stress and, the relationship between positive psychological capital and turnover intention is negative, whereas there is a positive relation between job stress and turnover intention. It is thought that the results of the research will contribute to the relevant literature and to the practitioners. It is also expected that individual, organizational and social improvement contributions will be obtained from the results gathered from the study.
