Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the mediating role of organizational support in the effect of positive psychological capital on work motivation. Positive psychological capital; It consists of components such as hope, self-efficacy, resilience and optimism and increases employees' commitment and motivation to their jobs. Organizational support increases job satisfaction and productivity by making employees feel valued and supported. In line with the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted as a field application. Within the scope of the research, data was collected by applying a survey to employees in a mining factory in Elazığ province. SPSS statistical program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that positive psychological capital positively affects work motivation. While optimism and psychological resilience, which are dimensions of positive psychological capital, have no effect on work motivation; It has been observed that hope and self-efficacy positively affect work motivation. Additionally, it was determined that organizational support had a partial mediating role in the effect of positive psychological capital on work motivation. Based on the findings of the study, it was emphasized that businesses should maximize the effect of positive psychological capital on work motivation by strengthening organizational support mechanisms for their employees. Thus, both individual employee success and overall business efficiency and corporate success will increase. Keywords: Organizational support, Positive psychological capital, Work motivation
