Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of positive psychological capital on work engagement within the framework of social exchange theory. In accordance with this purpose, the study was conducted with 201 people working in a shopping center in Kastamonu province. The data needed for the study were obtained through online and face-to-face questionnaires. Exploratory factor analysis of the scales used in the study was performed. The reliability levels of the scales were interpreted using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. In the study, positive psychology was evaluated on three dimensions and work engagement was evaluated on three dimensions. The findings of the study show that positive psychological capital has a significant positive effect on job passion. The study contributes to the literature in terms of interpreting the relationships between the relevant variables within the framework of social exchange theory.
