Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY Non-Being Thouht in the Pre-Socratic Philosophy Pre-Socratic philosophy is the time during which the first philosophic thoughts occurred. This period has a very colourful character even though it is a very short time. Those differences can be seen in the thoughts of philosophers who lived within that very short period. This study is a review of the mentioned period by putting the "non-existence" in the very central position. By this way, starting from "non-existence" this study tried to look at "existence", and to make a preparatory for this point of view, we studied the classification of existence made by the well known philosophers of the history, and we tried to adjudicate on the argument by making a classification of existence which will be valid for that period. In this classification, existence is studied on from the perspective of onthic, epistemic and quantity, and the study tries to be explained how to understand the existence from this perspective. Three different traditions are made out as Pluralist, Elea and West Anatolian from their point of view to "existence" in this period, thoughts of the philosophers who lived during that period are explained and this study tries to produce new thoughts on what kind of existence was the subject of those thoughts. Key words: Pre-Socratic, being, classification of existence, absolute being, abstract being, non-being, absolute non-being, abstract non-being.
