Abstract (EN)

PREDICTIVE ROLE OF WORK ENGAGEMENT AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL ON JOB CRAFTING This study investigates the predictive role of psychological capital and work engagement on job crafting, both of which are key concepts in organizational psychology and career counseling. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), the Psychological Capital Scale, and the Job Crafting Scale to measure the respective constructs. One-Way MANOVA, t-test, Pearson Product Moment Correlation, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis were employed to analyze the data. The sample consisted of 500 participants from various sectors residing in Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara. Data were collected via an online survey, and after necessary adjustments, responses from 454 participants were analyzed. The findings revealed significant differences in job crafting based on gender, age, and educational level. The results indicate that psychological capital and work engagement significantly influence job crafting behaviors, explaining %71.9 of the total variance. It is anticipated that this study will contribute to organizational practices by offering insights into how psychological capital and work engagement factors shape job crafting behaviors. Keywords: Career counseling, Job crafting, Work engagement, Psychological capital
