Abstract (EN)

In this study, prefabricated and conventional construction methods of an industrial structurehave been compared. For this purpose, the system information of the structure, specificationsfor structures to be built in the disaster areas, TS 500 and TS9967, SAP version 7.42 and excelhave been used. Before calculations, the local soil class, earthquake susceptibility, roofing, axle distance andelevation of structure have been determined. Based on the obtained data, the statisticalcalculations have been done for the prefabricated and conventional constructions of the samestructure respectively. In the first calculation method, the load bearing system and the roofskeleton were considered to have a prefabricated construction while the roof skeleton wasconsidered to have a steel construction in the second calculation method. As a result of the study, the load on column and foundations have changed in the secondcalculation method as the roof skeleton is constructed from steel. It has been observed that thedimensions of the concrete sections and foundation change as the load decreases. Thus, it hasbeen understood that both methods can be applied but the second calculation method is a morecost effective solution.
