Abstract (EN)

This work aims to study the conditions the society of the post war era is in, the role and the duties of the women and the way the heroines are fictionalized in the novels written by women writers who are awarded prizes in literature after the Spanish Civil War. The focus of the analysis comprise the characters Andrea in the novel Nada, Magdalena in the novel Nosotros, los Rivero, Tadea in the novel Tristura, Natalia in the novel Entre visillos, Marcela in the novel Viento del norte, Daniel in the novel Los hijos muertos, Matia in the novel Primera memoria, Leonardo in the novel Siempre en capilla, Paulina in the novel La mujer nueva, Salvadora in the novel Un valle en el mar. The objective of this research is to find out thematic and formal answers to the questions of how the prevailing gender roles of the era are similar or differ from each other in the novels mentioned and if the literary awards received contributed to the literary career of the authors. The texts analyzed in this study will be associated with the political cultural and literary background of the 20th century Spain. In this study the texts will be analyzed in an approach to reveal the political and religious views of the period and the women's role in this structure.
