Abstract (EN)

The subject of our thesis is the fantastic story art of the Russian writer Vladimir Fyodorovich Odoyevsky. For this purpose we tried both to introduce to writer and review his stories.Odoyevsky is a writer of the first half of XIX. Century His contribution to Russian literature, especially Russian Fantastic literature is great. Also, Odoyevsky takes up a considerable place in fantastic literary by his works.Odoyevsky was a didactic writer and socialist. He explained and criticized Russian high society life, education and bureaucratic system by showing their defects. Odoyevsky was a good observer who displayed the life of Russian public and high society at that period.The writer?s literal language changes according to subject of his works. His language in his aristocratic and philosophic stories is highly hard to understand. But, he used clear and fluent language in his child stories and folk tales. He showed an excellence in folk language.Odoyevsky has an important place in the Russian literature as a writer, journalist and folk man.Key Words:1. Fantastic2. Romantizm3. Russian Literature4.
