PREONIC MODELS AND PRODUCTION OF EXCITED Z BOSONBY e-e+â Z γ PROCESS( M.Sc.Thesis )Erdoğan AKYAZIGAZİ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYSeptember 2006ABSTRACTThere are several fundamental problems which do not have solutions in theframework of the Standard Model. Some of them are; fermion?s mass andmixing pattern, L-R symmetry breaking, quark-lepton symmetry, very largenumbers of fundemental particles and arbitrary parameters etc. So, physicistspropose many different extensions of the Standard Model, most part of whichpredict a rich spectrum of new particles and interactions. Several examples are;Preonic Models, Supersymmetry, Extra-Dimensions. As in the history ofphysics, proposal a new level of substructure seems to be the right approach to anew physics. In this thesis, Preonic Models which assume that quarks, leptonsand gauge bosons have same constituents are considered.
