Abstract (EN)

With the increase in the aesthetic expectations that support the natural appearance, and the concept of preventive dentistry have gained value, higher light transmittance and thinner restorations have come to the fore. As the thickness of the restorations decreases, the effect of the color properties of the underlying tooth tissue and resin cements on the color of the restoration also increases. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of different light-permeable ceramics, composite resin cements of different colors and tooth tissues of different colors, and to compare the target A1 color on the vita scale with the final restoration color. In the study, infrastructure samples were prepared using 3 different composite materials representing enamel surfaces. Sections obtained from CAD / CAM blocks with different light transmittance properties with lithium disilicate content as ceramic material were adhered to the substructures with a resin cement with 3 different light transmittance. L*a*b*C*h* color values of each sample were measured with spectrophotometer and recorded. L*a*b*C*h* values of A1 color in Vita scale were taken as the initial reference value and ΔELab, ΔE00, Translucency parameter was calculated. When the results of the study are evaluated, laminated veneer samples with thicknesses of 0.5 mm and below are significantly affected by the light transmittance of the material, the color of the underlying tooth and the light transmittance of the resin cement. It was observed that the color change increased as the underlying tooth tissue darkened. Key Words: Laminate veneer ; ΔELab, ΔE00, color, dental esthetics,
