Abstract (EN)
It is difficult to manufacture ceramic wares without defects in the ceramic industry.From the preparation of raw material to the decoration stage, there are a lots of elements inceramic production which cause faults to some extend at least. Detail information is given bothon what can cause defects within the stages of shaping processes in this industry and whatshould be done to prevent them. The aim of this study is to determine faults occurred as a resultof shaping processes in ceramic manufacturing at Altın Çini ve Seramik Sanayii A.Ş. and toadopt remedies relevant to their own particular production circumstances.Keywords: Ceramic Faults, Faults Remedies, Shaping Processes
