Determination of occupational health and safety culture of press factory employees and investigation of its effect on work efficiency: Bursa example

In this study, the main aim is to determine occupational health and safety cultures of the workers of a press factory which is active in Bursa city and investigate the effect of that on the work productivity. For this study, data collection survey forms were prepared and applied to press workers.In this context, survey forms which contain there sections, were created. The held data collection form is to consist of demographic information,occupational health and safety culture and work productivity. Survey study were applied to 70 workers and 70 surveys were taken to evaluate.The datas which were collected from sample group were applied to non-parametric tests on SPSS Windows Version 23.0 package program."Explanatory Factor Analsis" was applied to the used scales.The factorization dimension of used scale was analyzed with "Basic Components Analysis" On the findings, a significant and positive relation was detected between occupational health and safety culture and work productivity. On behalf of the study, occupational safety culture highly contribute to the rise of work productivity. As a result, the workers who have better perception of occupational safety culture also have better work productivity levels.
