Abstract (EN)

The goal of this thesus is anayzing the relation of anaerobic threshold, intermittent sprint (Running Based Anaerobic Sprint Test) and recovery of Professional soccer players by positions and the variables of the league. 75 professional soccer players from Gaziantepspor and Bursaspor from Turkish Super league, Bugsaşspor from 2nd league and Orhangazispor from the 3nd league have joined the research. The final datas of the tests are processed by Pearson?s Chi-Squared Test, One Way Anova test fort he differences of positions and leagues and the Tukey Test for dual comparisons. The final percent of error is obtained as 0.05. The relation between the Fatique Index (FI), lactate threshold speed and average strength correlation is obtained statistically. According to this, players with good aerobic capacity have lower Fatique Index (r=-0.317). No significant relation found between lactate threshold speed and maximum or minimum power production. At the Modified Shuttle Test, the heart rate (HR) was 189.89 at max. speed while it was 143.96 at min. speed The HR after the test was 145.20 at the end of 1st minute, 127.55 at the end of 2nd minute and 107.89 at the end of 3rd minute. Avarage distance run by super league players was 2967 meters while it was 2910 meters by 2nd league players and 2575 meters by 3rd league players. The average speed of super league players was 13.6 kmph while it was 12.7 kmph for 2nd league players and 11.7 kmph for 3rd league players at the lactate threshold. Following the statistical analysis of the results of intermittent Sprint (RAST) Test, below results are obtained as follows average time min. 4.01 seconds and max. 6.00 seconds, average power min. 620.9 watts and max. 975.9 watts, average fatique index 11.6. Average power at super league is 880,3 watts, while it was 722.78 watts at 2nd. league and 15.510 at 3rd. league. The final percent of error is obtained as 0.05. As a comparison of positions, average power was 846.61 watts at forward, 783 watts at defence, 769.82 watts at mid field and 726 watts at goal keeper. Fatique Index was 16.377 at goal keeper, 11.465 at mid field, 10.913 at defence, 10.791 at forward position. There is high positive relation between fatique ındex and maximal power(r=0.571) According to the results of this study, players producing high power of running while a test run, gets fatique at the following test runs. Usually high power producing and low power producing players are same. Correlation between high and low power production is r=0.619. It shows players pushing limits at runs get fatique higher. In terms of differences between leagues, Max. power production does not differ a lot, while min. power production gets lower as long as leagues get to 2nd and 3rd ones at the intermittent (RAST) Test. Fatique Index also increase at 2nd and 3rd leagues. Lactate threshold speed also declines at 2nd and 3rd leagues. Due to those results, in case of improving intermittent sprint performance; the development of aerobic capacity must be considered at first place.
