Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the opinion of teachers related to situation of being the professional learning community, psychological ownership, and contextual performance, is to reveal the level of influence among one another by determining whether there is a meaningful relationship among teachers' opinions and is to review whether the community of professional learning has a mediating role between psychological ownership and contextual performance in the schools. Relational screening model was used in the research. The research was conducted on the universe. The research universe constituted 844 teachers who worked in 18 high schools in the central district of Bolu province in 2017-2018 education year. Psychological Ownership and Contextual Performance scales, which was adapted to Turkish, along with Professional Learning Community Scale were used as the data collection tool in the study. Confirmatory and Exploratory Factor Analyzes were used to test the construct validity of the Contextual Performance and Psychological Ownership Scale, adapted and used in the research, along with Professional Learning Community Scale. Analyzes were performed with SPSS 22.0 packaged software and Lisrel 9.1 software. Averages and standard deviations of the data were calculated within the scope of the first sub-problem of the research. Independent groups t test and one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were performed within the scope of second sub-problem. In order to answer the third and fourth sub-problems of the research, Pearson Correlation coefficient was used and simple linear regression analyzes were performed. The mediating effect analysis was performed for the mediating role of the professional learning community, which is the last sub-problem of the research, between psychological ownership and contextual performance. The results of the findings from the research showed that the opinions of the teachers regarding the Professional Learning Community Scale and its sub-dimensions were at the level of "I agree". It was found that the opinions of the teachers regarding the psychological ownership scale were partially agree, while the opinions regarding the sub-dimensions were "I agree", and the regionalism sub-dimensions, as distinct from the general and other sub-dimensions of the scale, was at the level of "partially not agree". It was seen that the total of the contextual performance scale and their opinions regarding the sub-dimensions of facilitating interpersonal relations and devoting themselves to work were at the level of likely/probable. It was found that there was a moderate, positive and meaningful relationship between the opinions of high school teachers regarding the professional learning community and psychological ownership, and their opinions regarding the professional learning community and contextual performance. It was found that there was a moderate, positive and meaningful relationship between their opinions regarding psychological ownership and contextual performance, and between contextual performance and all sub-dimensions of psychological ownership, except for the regionalism. In the first result of the three regression analyzes, psychological ownership scale scores were found to be a significant predictor of the professional learning community scale scores, and it was found that psychological ownership scale scores explained approximately 10% of the total variance in the professional learning community scale scores. In the second, the professional learning community scale scores were found to be a significant predictor of contextual performance scale scores, and it was found that the professional learning community explained approximately 12% of the total variance in contextual performance scale scores. In the third, psychological ownership scale scores were found to be a significant predictor of contextual performance scale scores, and it was found that psychological ownership scale scores explained approximately 24% of the total variance in contextual performance scale scores. It was also found that the professional learning community has a low level of mediating effect between psychological ownership and contextual performance in the research. Key Words: The Community of professional learning, psychological ownership and contextual performance, teacher.
