Project management implications are needed especially in big projects for finishing the works in its due time and with current sources on hand productively with in the project scope. As a process approach, project management is related on finishing the works in due time and with a limited budget. In this way implementations of project management in big projects gain the importance. "İSKİ Güney Haliç II Atıksu Tüneli İnşaat Projesi" (ISKI Southern Golden Horn II Wastewater Tunnel Construction Project) is a quite large-scale big project. In this project, project management implications have been performed. Within this scope fast excavation machines (TBM – EPBM) have been used. When the other opening of tunnel methods examined and the existing studies took into consideration, in the project of opening waste water tunnel, the usage of TBM is prefered for being faster and more practical. Also with made several examinations, required precautions for making easy excavations have been provided, in this way productivity in preformed works has been gotten. As it's seen in the execution of "İSKİ Güney Haliç II Atıksu Tüneli İnşaat Projesi" too, project management and its practices provide many benefits in executed projects.
