Abstract (EN)

COMPARISON OF DOSIMETRIC PARAMETERS OF SBRT AND VMAT PLANS MADE ON PROSTAT CANCER PATIENT TREATMENT PLANS In this study we aimed dosimetric comparison of treatment plans made using SBRT technique, VMAT and Cyberknife® treatment methods for 9 patients diagnosed with prostate cancer who received radiotherapy. Archive material of 9 patients whose primary diagnosis was prostate cancer and who received treatment at Bursa Uludağ University Medical Faculty Radiation Oncology Department was obtained retrospectively. The obtained data were transferred to Accuray Precision TPS and Monaco TPS, and the target volume (PTV) and critical organs (rectum, bladder, right and left femoral heads) were contoured to create retrospective plans. The same contours are used for the planning in both TPS. In the virtual plans, it was aimed to provide critical organ dose values and to get the target volume to take the entire prescribed dose. Dose distributions were obtained with the DVHs in the virtual plans created and statistical analyzes were made using the SPSS program, Independent T test and Mann Whitney U tests. As a result of the studies performed, when the plans in both methods were examined dosimetrically, the values were found to be clinically appropriate.Values obtained for critical organ doses and target volume receiving the prescribed dose gave similar results despite minor differences. Accuray-Cyberknife® gave better results in CI values, while Monaco-VMAT gave lower results in HI and MU values. Key Words:Prostate Cancer, SBRT, VMAT, Cyberknife®
