Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out between 2016 and 2017 to determine the helmint parasites on endemic fish species of Pseudophoxinus antalyae BOGUTSKAYA, 1992 in the border of Doşemealtı/Antalya. P. antalyae BOGUTSKAYA, 1992 were captured using with sepet catching method from Kırkgöz resource, respectively. In the first, the length, weight, age and sexes of the sampled fish specimens were measured and determined. Then, external and internal examination was performed. A total of 351 individuals were examined for P. antalyae BOGUTSKAYA, 1992, respectively. Of the specimens examined, 95 individuals were observed with parasites. Five species of parasites (Paradiplozoon homoion, Dactylogyrus sp., Rhabdochona denudata, Contracaecum sp. and Ligula sp.) were identified. In the study, prevalence (%), mean density and abundance parameters of each parasite species were evaluated by calculating the parameters according to sex, age and length group for fish species. KEYWORDS: Endemic, Helminth Parasites, Parasitism, Pseudophoxinus antalyae.
