Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the most used ego states in communication between nurse and patient related to Transactional Analysis Theory. Quantitave and qualitative research methods were performed with using questionnare and observations. Quantitative data were collected by using ?Personal Information Form? and ?Ego State Scala?. Qualitative data were performed by directly participated observation method. Quantitative data obtained from research were evaluated with Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Correlation Analysis and Kendall?s Tau-c tests. According to results of this study, psychiatric and mental health nurses use Adult and Nurturing Parent ego states related to researcher, administrative nurses and nurses. A significant difference were indicated between ego states which nurses used in communication with patients and nurses? ages, marital status, education level, work experience, job satisfaction. It was also determined that Complementary Transactions came trust predominantly in communication process.
