Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to examine the relationship between psychological counselors professional satisfaction and intolerance of uncertainty, cognitive flexibility and coping with stress with some personal variables. The research group of the study consisted of 470 psychological counselors working in various institutions throughout Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year. "Personal Information Form", "Job Satisfaction Scale", "Intolerance to Uncertainty Scale", "Cognitive Flexibility Inventory" and "Stress Coping Scale" were used to collect research data. In the analysis of the obtained data, t test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used. When the findings are examined, it is seen that the job satisfaction levels of the psychological counselors differ according to their educational status, age and the group they work for. It is seen that the levels of intolerance to uncertainty differ according to the variables of gender, marital status, educational status, age and professional experience. It has been found that the cognitive flexibility levels differ according to the professional experience variable, and the total scores for coping with stress differ according to gender. It has been determined that there is a moderately significant and negative correlation between job satisfaction and intolerance to uncertainty. It has been determined that there is a moderately significant and positive correlation between job satisfaction and cognitive flexibility. It has been determined that there is a moderately significant and positive correlation between job satisfaction and coping with stress. When the correlation between intolerance of uncertainty, cognitive flexibility and coping with stress with job satisfaction was examined, a moderately significant and positive relationship was found.
