The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of psychological empowerment perception on organizational commitment. The data of 443 people working in municipalities in Adana, were collected by means of a questionnaire. During the study; factor analysis for validity, Cronbach's Alpha analysis for reliability and regression analysis for hypothesis testing and all other complementary statistics analysis were performed through SPSS-V.22 software. As a result of validity and reliability analyzes, organizational commitment scale was collected under four dimensions, namely, continuation commitment, negative affective commitment, positive affective commitment and normative commitment. Psychological empowerment scale was divided into three dimensions: meaning, effect, autonomy and competence. According to the results of the study, the positive effects of psychological empowerment on the negative affective commitment and the effect of autonomy and competence sub-dimensions were not supported. A positive effect on negative affective commitment was found in the meaning sub-dimension.
