Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological well-being and forgiveness and religious coping. The research is a field study conducted using the survey technique suitable for the screening method. The sample of the study consists of 384 people (235 females and 149 males) aged between 18 and 66. During the data collection process, the questionnaire form created via Google Forms was sent to the participants electronically in October 2020. The questionnaire, which consists of a Personal Information Form, Psychological Well-Being Scale, Forgiveness Scale, and Religious Coping Scale, also included subjective perception of religiosity and problems encountered in the last six months. SPSS package program was used for data analysis. The data obtained were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation Analysis techniques. According to the findings, some significant differences were obtained between psychological well-being, religious coping and forgiveness, and demographic variables (excluding gender and social environment). Accordingly, significant differences were found between age and marital status, psychological well-being, and other dimensions other than autonomy, forgiveness and religious coping. Between income status and psychological well-being, forgiveness and religious coping; A significant difference was found between educational status, psychological well-being and positive religious coping. According to the results of the research, there are positive significant relationships between psychological well-being, forgiveness and positive religious coping; Negatively significant relationships were found between psychological well-being and negative religious coping. In addition, positive significant relationships between forgiveness and positive religious coping; Negatively significant relationships were found between forgiveness and negative religious coping.
