Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of psychological capital levels of employees on levels of loneliness and organizational alienation in organizational life. For this purpose, as the target audience; the banking sector, where excessive competition, intensive work, and sales and marketing pressures are observed intensively. Today's developing technology, growing economic markets, fragility of large economies have completely changed the banking sector and made it customer-oriented. The low level of psychological capital and high levels of organizational loneliness and organizational alienation of employees is undesirable for banks with profit-making organizations. At this point in the banking sector, it is vital for the human resources departments to employ employees with high psychological capital of their employees and low probability of loneliness and organizational alienation in organizational life. Positive psychology, which focuses on the positive aspects and characteristics of people, has been reflected in the business life as positive organizational behavior and psychological capital and has helped the development of human capital which is important for organizations. Organizational alienation and loneliness in organizational life can disrupt the social structure of the organization and prevent the organization from progressing towards its existence. As a result of the analyzes carried out in this study, it has been determined that psychological capital has different effects on the sub-dimensions of loneliness and organizational alienation in organizational life and the importance of psychological capital for banks has been revealed.
