Abstract (EN)
While it has adaptive effects such as supporting the person with an anxiety mood to adapt to new conditions and taking a supportive function in taking his spiritual development to the higher steps, there are also maladaptive effects that negatively affect human competencies such as a decrease in the quality of life of the person, decrease in work efficiency, and deterioration in interpersonal relations. . As a result of the maladaptive effect of the anxiety state, physiological symptoms such as palpitations, difficulty in breathing, rapid breathing, tremors in the hands and feet, and excessive sweating occur. In addition to the physiological symptoms, psychological distress, excitement, feeling and fear that something bad will suddenly happen can be counted. Psychiatric tests are subjective measurement scales for the detection of mood disorders. Although these tests have been proven to be accurate, they have limitations. Subjects may misunderstand, interpret or not answer the question based on their own experience. In case of progression of anxiety disorder, it can turn into various psychological disorders such as panic disorder, general medical condition anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder. EEG is defined as a unique and valuable measure of the electrical function of the brain; It is a graphical representation of the voltage difference from two brain function regions recorded over time. EEG recordings are made by placing one or more electrodes on the skull. Raw EEG signals have amplitude in microvolts (μ) and frequency up to 300 Hz. In order to obtain an efficient result from the obtained raw signals, the signals must be processed by transmitting them to the amplifier, these analog signals must be filtered to be free from noise before or after digitization so that the signals are suitable for processing and visualization. In the study to be done, the data set prepared by the Research Groups in Intelligent Machines Lab will be used upon the emergence of anxiety. Within the scope of this study, it was tried to develop a model that will support diagnosis, in which EEG data of individuals is used as a biomarker by using machine learning methods.
