Abstract (EN)
Ghazali was born in the Iranian city of Tus in 450/1058, his real name is Muhammad b. He is Muhammad. Ghazali, whose dog tag is Abu Hamid, also has the nicknames "Hujjatul-Islam" and "Zaynuddin". A well-known scholar both in the western world and in the Islamic world, Ghazali is a man of science and thought who expresses ideas in many fields from logic to philosophy, from Islamic sciences to psychology, from sociology to law. With the ideas he has expressed and the books he has written, he has influenced the world of thought of many people and has been a source of inspiration for them and expanded their horizons. So much so that Ghazali still continues to have an impact on many more people with his thoughts and works. He was influential in Islamic Psychology as well as in many fields, and made his name among the scholars who laid the foundations of Islamic psychology. He put forward theories by making inferences from the specific to the general, thinking that someone else could also experience the experiences he had. Ghazali is the scholar who made the most systematic explanations and definitions among the early scholars in the field of Islamic psychology. In many of his works, he included the concepts of soul, heart, mind and spirit and discussed them systematically. In his works, he used mind, soul, levels of the soul, heart and soul in the same sense, as well as in different meanings. According to him, the multiplicity of words mentioned does not bring with it the multiplicity of meaning. For this reason, according to him, although the heart, the soul, the levels of the soul and the mind are different words, their meaning is the same. According to Ghazali, very few people can understand the real meaning of these concepts. According to Ghazali, in order to reach the real meaning of these concepts, thinking and deep studies should be done. Ghazali's greatest aim is "marifatullah". In order for a person to reach knowledge of Allah, he must first know himself well. This thought of Ghazali is the product of his experiences. Ghazali expressed many psychological views by blending his own experiential knowledge with divinely sourced knowledge. In this study, Ghazali, who attracted the attention of both the Islamic world and the Western world with his views, while talking about the need for man to know himself, his views on the levels of mind, heart, soul, intellect, soul and soul and the relationship between these concepts are discussed in detail.
